The DRYMASTER, our Masterbatch line, consists of colors, pigments, dyes or additives dispersed in thermoplastic resins. They can be colored, black, white, or even a combination of colors with additives, for example, white masterbatch with UV stabilizer additive.

Masterbatch is one of the most popular pigments among plastics transformers. This is due to its versatility in many processes, presenting a good cost-benefit.

Some of the most common base resins for masterbatches:

PE, PP, PET, PBT, EVA, PA6, ABS, PS, among others.

Both virgin and recycled grades.

DRYMASTER can be used in various processes as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, press molding and rotational molding.

Note: It can be configured to comply with legislation regarding plastic packaging in contact with food and pharmaceuticals.

Liquidcolor

LIQUIDCOLOR is a line of pigments, dyes and additives dispersed in liquid carriers. The main feature of LIQUDICOLOR is the advantage that can be obtained in process and cost’s optimization, combined with the DRY COLOR® dosing system, which allows LIQUIDCOLOR to be dosed in sync with the process, eliminating the expense of decontaminating mixers, transfer lines and losses resulting from formulation errors, increasing the control over the final product quality.

Acetaldehyde Reducer

DRY COLOR has developed an acetaldehyde reducer additive in the portfolio.

Acetaldehyde is a colorless and volatile substance, formed from the polymerization of PET resins, most significantly in the degradation during the preforms’ injection. This substance ends up having a characteristic flavor that, depending on its content (ppm), can influence the flavor of the packaged beverage.

When adjustments in the process alone are not enough to reduce the concentration of this substance, it is necessary to apply an acetaldehyde reducer additive.

Antioxidant

The antioxidant additive has numerous applications, and can be used in packaging, construction products, technical parts, automotive industry and others.

Its main function is to prevent oxidation of polymers during their injection or extrusion processing. However, the antioxidant’s protection is not limited to the processing stage. It extends to the final product, helping to protect it when exposed to the weather, for example.

The antioxidant can be a single, colorless additive or combined with a color. It can also be used in any of the technologies offered by DRY COLOR®: DRYMASTER (masterbatch), LIQUIDPET and LIQUIDCOLOR (liquid color concentrate), COLORMATCH (powder color concentrate), NO DUST (microsphere) and PASTECOLOR (paste color concentrate).

UV Absorber

DRY COLOR® has high-performance additives in its portfolio, including the UV absorber / stabilizer.

The main function of this additive is to absorb and stabilize the ultraviolet rays, creating a protective barrier in the product where it is applied, preserving the integrity of the pigmentation, mechanical resistance of the thermoplastic and even the shelf life of the packaged product for longer.

This additive can be supplied in any technology offered by DRY COLOR, DRYMASTER (masterbatch), LIQUIDPET and LIQUIDCOLOR (liquid color concentrate), COLORMATCH (powder color concentrate), NO DUST (microsphere) and PASTECOLOR (paste color concentrate).

The ultraviolet absorber additive can be a single colorless product to be applied, for example, in crystal packaging, or incorporated into a color, for example, a blue granulated masterbatch with incorporated UV additive, or even a liquid masterbatch for amber PET also with incorporated additive.
